Some Things Never Change

Liz is always telling me that she wants her hair to be long, but it is a constant battle to keep it looking nice. I was really surprised the other day when I took her in for a trim, and she told the stylist how she wanted it.

BEFORE

AFTER

In case anyone missed it, she has lost 2 teeth in the time we have been in Bountiful. She also has another loose one that I think will be coming out any day now.

As you can see, a lot has been changing in her life, however, I think some things will never change. I was sitting at church the other day waiting for Relief Society to start, and a sister was passing out some handouts. She told me that she had just been in primary and saw the cutest thing. My daughter was sitting there "prim and proper" (my daughter, are you sure?) between two boys. She said they must both have crushes on her because they were jumping through hoops trying to impress her. That's right, my little girl who managed to find the few boys in a mostly female primary class in Cedar, is now in a class with 3 boys and her. Some girls might be complaining that there isn't another girl, but not ours! I think we might be in for some trouble now!

end of an era

It's been a while since I posted so I decided it was time to update the blog. Liz finished kindergarten. She had a great year, and is so eager to learn. I'm not exactly sure how I'm going to entertain her for the summer!

For those of you who haven't heard, Brad's company transferred him to one of their other offices. Of course, this meant a move for us. We are now living in Bountiful. I fought this because I didn't want to leave Cedar. We had lived there for 7 years, and it was definantly my home. However, we have been here for a week and I'm already starting to enjoy being here. I miss all the wonderful friends and neighbors we had, but I think we are in a great area here too. Liz and I are having fun exploring the town. She is such a social person that she had a lot of friends, and had a hard time leaving them, but I have a feeling it won't be much longer before she has a bunch of friends here too.
